Chiru Bikes, the French brand specializing in titanium solutions, has launched its Nanulak long-tail titanium fat bike model ahead of the Iditarod Trail Invitational in Alaska. This release has framebuilders rejoicing. Let’s see why below…
From Custom Only to Production
Prior to the Nanulak, there wasn’t a production offering for long-tail titanium fat bikes. Only available through custom framebuilders before this, which would cost multitudes of $5,000-8,000 and up for a frame, the Nanulak brings the long-tail chassis model to the masses with a 2890 € price tag.
Chiru Nanulak Geometry
Available in three sizes, all with similar seat, head angles, and bottom bracket drops, the Chiru Nanulak is tuned for comfort during long expedition riding and racing.
Q Factor and Wheel Adaptability
The most distinctive feature of the Chiru Nanulak is the crank and bottom bracket interface that enables seamless switching between a fat bike Q factor crank suitable for 26×5.0″ tires and a narrower Q Factor crank compatible with 29×3.0 tires, giving the Nanulak exceptional versatility.
