Chumba‘s 150 mm travel titanium hardtail, named the SLACKR after the cult classic film from Austin, TX, Slacker, just got its official geometry. The brand also rolled out new sizes for its Sendero hardtail and Yaupon drop-bar 29er mountain bike. Let’s check it out.
The SLACKR sports a 64.5º head and 75.2º seat angle unsagged across the small through XL size range and a continuous 53 mm bottom bracket drop, save for the small with 55 mm and XL, which sport a 49 mm drop. What’s impressive is the stack height across all sizes, which is in-line with a 150 mm travel hardtail.
The Austin, Texas-based bicycle manufacturers have also just released new sizes across all its MTB models as well. With MTB riders planning their builds around a narrow range of short stem lengths (typically 32-60mm), Chumba felt riders could benefit from more subtle changes across model sizes.
- The SLACKR is now available in 6 sizes: S, S/M, M, M/L, L, and XL
- The Yaupon is now available in 6 sizes: S, S/M, M, M/L, L, and XL
- The Sendero is now available in 5 sizes: S, M, M/L, L, and XL
