Kettlexpress (approx $1,233 USD) is Scolarian’s all-road touring bike, designed to be a reliable companion in the remotest of locations. The platform provides comfort, stability, and ergonomics.
The frame is made of Reynolds 525 and seamless cold-worked chrome-molybdenum alloy 4130 tubes, welded in Coimbatore, India. You can choose between drop-bar and loop bar for the bike. The loopbar version has trigger shifters for changing gears, while the dropbar version uses time tested bar-end shifters that can be run indexed or friction, especially useful when the drivetrain is dirty, worn, mismatched or you are in the middle of nowhere.
