State Bicycle Co just announced a new partnership with Grassroots Gravel and the Ride Together Grant. Read on below for the full 411…

Building on the energy, inclusivity, and quality of the inaugural Grassroots Gravel race in Pueblo, Colorado, last October, the event is partnering with State Bicycle Co. to step up financial accessibility to cycling in the region and the industry with the Ride Together Grant. The duo combines Grassroots Gravel’s commitment to a world-class event and ongoing cycling equity efforts at the grassroots (seriously) level in the southern Colorado region with State Bicycle Co.’s commitment to affordable, high-quality products that real cyclists can get behind.

The Ride Together Grant will provide an opportunity for registration, travel & lodging expenses, and equipment support for riders facing financial barriers to participating. Ten free event entries will be awarded, five expense stipends to support lodging & travel, and State Bicycle Co will be providing a new gravel bike to five awardees. Additional in-kind support will be provided by event partners Flow Formulas, Twisted Spoke CBD, Squirt Cycling Products, and Pearl Izumi. The bikes will be assembled and tuned by The Great Divide bike shop of Pueblo, CO prior to being transferred to the awardees.

Applications for the Ride Together Grant are open April 1st, 2024 – July 31st, 2024. 

The Ride Together Grant is funded directly from the Grassroots Gravel operating budget because we believe in the power of riding together and reaching new milestones, for everyone.
