Crihs put together a highlight video from the 2014 CMWC in Mexico City with tons of dense traffic lines.
Earlier this summer, the Cycle Messenger World Championship found its way to Mexico City as bike messengers from all over the globe found themselves together competing and let’s be honest, partying. See more in this video recap. There are lots of familiar faces in this one!
Having just come off of a successful CMWC in Mexico, the world now looks to Melbourne, Australia for the 2015 host city. This is going to be good! See more at CMWC 2015.
Two Years on a Bike With the Fuji X-Pro1
Words and Photos by Kevin Sparrow
A follow up to: Kevin Sparrow Discusses the Fuji X-Pro1 and Cycling
It has been over two years since I switched over from Canon DSLR to the Fuji X-Pro1 and I haven’t looked back. I’ve traveled all over the world with this camera. I rode from Paris to Lausanne with her slung around my back. I’ve shot photos for commercial clients and for publications. This little camera has more than met my expectations as a professional use camera.
Keep alleycats and CMWC weird. Or something!

Long-time friend and contributer to PiNP, Kevin Sparrow has a great gallery from the CMWC 2013 up at Vocativ. Head over to check them out! That one of Kym is so rad. It looks like everyone had an incredible time in Lausanne!
Side note: Kevin is really putting that Fuji X-Pro 1 to use…
Here’s some more coverage from the CMWC 2013 in Lausanne. Keep sending these over!
Here’s the first video I’ve seen come from the 2013 CMWC in Lausanne. Hopefully there’s more of the actual event (and the lake jump) coming. If you’ve got something, send it over!

The 2013 CMWC in Lausanne appears to be one of the most picturesque and grueling competitions to date. There isn’t a whole lot of coverage up on the net just yet, but the news that Austin Horse won the CMWC has been circulating through social media. While more photos turn up, check out the Flickr group and Vocativ where Kevin Sparrow is contributing photos.
The 2013 Cycle Messenger World Championship is coming! This year the city of Lausanne, Switzerland will be hosting. Check out more information here! I really wish I could make it out this year.
I first met Damian Riehl in Austin at the 2011 NACCCs and was immediately drawn to his photography. While the Hasselblad 500c/m is his go-to-workhorse camera, he likes to shoot various formats for big events. When I found out he was heading out to the 2012 CMWC in Chicago, I reached out, offering a platform to display a few photos in a Guest Gallery. I had no idea he’d deliver such a rad package!

If this photo looks strange to you, it’s because Crihs is going against the number one rule of track cycling: let the people in front do all the work. Dude, what are you doing!? Whatever got intio Crihs’ head worked for him that day, as he landed on the podium for a few events. See more of Jake’s photos here, at his Flickr.

With everyone finally detoxing from CMWC, it’s great to see the first runs of film photography making it out of the processing facilities. Jake’s photos from Chicago (and the ride to Chicago) are great. If you really want to see a behind the scenes look at the comradery that goes down at events like this, check out his Flickr photos here.

From the velodrome to the streets… CMWC was last weekend in Chicago and while there is more coverage coming to the site shortly, I had to post up this photo Peter from COG magazine took of the classic LeMans race start. I love the energy these starts create. Great photo Pete!
This is too good. I hope everyone’s ready for the 2012 CMWC in Chicago!

The 2012 CMWCs are upon us and here’s the latest video from the Chicago team that’s putting it together. How sick is that? I wanna see someone one-up Christina riding her cargo bike on rollers. Get it girl!
