White Industries: T11 Hubs

While information is not yet on the White Industries site, my guess is that the new T11 hubs will be a huge hit this fall. From their Faceboook:

“The t11 hub is are new road hub that will be replacing the h3/h2 hub set, the drivers both campy and the new shim 11 speed will be in titanium and include a spacer for 10 speed compatibility”

Keep an eye on your local stockist so you can fondle a pair like I did at Interbike.

Victoire Cycles: New Made in France Frames

We all have seen Victoire Cycles‘ exquisite hubs and last week, Julian emailed me a few teaser shots of their new made in France track frames along with this little blurb:

“This frame is built around a really special set of tubes, made in France. Each tube is triple butted and D-shaped. We only made 8 sets of tubes so this frame will be available in only 8 units.”

More to come on this… In the meantime, what’s going on with those Bishop hubs? They’re too nice!

Curtis Odom Hubs: Vintage Style Bicycle Parts

Are your Risilion hubs not spinning like they used to? Bacon Slicers pitted? Cracked flange on the GS Campy pista? Look no further. For those wanting a little vintage flare on their bike but modern reliability is key, check out Curtis Odom Hubs. All they have is a Facebook page now, but there’s lots of pretty, shiny things over there.

Bombtrack: Micro Drive Fixed Freestyle Hub

After years of fixed freestyle riders demanding a micro drive, splined hub, Bombtrack pushes forward in the race to release its product first. Their fully-patented, 9t and 10t splined driver hub will hit the shelves this August. Don’t worry about availability in the USA, they’ve licensed the product to several manufacturers Stateside as well. Am I the only one that would love a 14t driver?

Specs:
Rear Female 10t: 515g
Rear Regular Axle 10t: 501g
Rear Hubguard: 109g

Phil Wood Likes it Fat

I don’t think it gets much fatter than this. Hell, that looks like it’d fit on a dirtbike. I’ll save you from counting the spokes. It’s a Phil Wood 64-hole disk hub for a new project the team’s working on.

Cookin’ Up Some New Wheels With Profile Elite RC Hubs

I have been salivating over the idea of a Profile Racing road / ‘cross hub since Christian first spun the cassette in the phone to me over a year ago. I like a loud hub and having ridden White Industry, Phil and Chris King, I’m very excited to try out the new Profile Elite RC hubs this coming ‘cross season. When the UPS delivery man dropped off the box today, I had to fry ’em up and see them glow.
